The Angiogenesis Research Center
offers a turn key approach to angiogenic drug development with the bench
to bedside paradigm. The Center provides rapid in vitro testing of novel
angiogenic cytokines and transcriptional factors leading to in vivo models.
In vivo models include the mouse matrigel model, mouse myocardial infarction
model, rabbit hindlimb ischemia model, and porcine myocardial ischemia
models. This is followed by assistance with IND/IDE submission and pilot
clinical trial design and execution. This enables rapid bench to bedside
evaluation of promising compounds.
